"Cold Kicker" Crystal-Infused Medicinal Herbal Vinegar

1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
5 fresh tarragon sprigs
8 cloves peeled garlic
4 cups cider vinegar
1 amethyst crystal

Fill a glass jar or bottle with the peppercorns and tarragon. Nick the
garlic and add.

Next, drop an amethyst crystal into the jar and cover entire contents
with the vinegar.

Be sure that everything is completely submerged in the vinegar so that
no bacteria can form. Let sit in a cool, dark place for 6 weeks.

Then it is ready to use to fight infections and colds. The amethyst
crystal protects the throat, lungs and respiratory system.

Makes 4 cups.

Take one tablespoon of this delicious herbal vinegar when you start to
feel the first signs of a cold or flu. It is even better when taken
daily as a preventative.

As soon as you see the beech trees leafing up, gather a large sack full of the tender leaves. Wash them and put them into large mason jars and cover with 80 proof gin. Pack the jars full using lots of leaves. Let it sit in a cool, dark place for about 10 days, then strain off into a clean jar. Gather another batch of leaves and do the process again with the liquid you saved for another 10 days. Then strain and put the liquid in clean jars. It is great for colds as a tonic.

It makes beech tree gin. It is great for sipping on a cold night or for medicinal purposes by the spoon full for congestion, cough and restlessness due to fever.
